Antony Szmierek
De uiterst charmante Brit Antony Szmierek wint overal waar hij gaat zieltjes. Met zijn aanstekelijke mix van spoken word, house, indie en rave zorgt hij voor euforische hoogtepunten op festivals en podia wereldwijd. Op zijn debuutalbum ‘Service Station at the End of the Universe’ liet Antony horen dat pop tegelijkertijd intelligent, persoonlijk én ontzettend catchy kan zijn. Ook op zijn nieuwste album ‘Decoding Birdsong’ hoor je zijn scherpe, persoonlijke teksten over liefde, vriendschap, het moderne leven en de kleine observaties die daar ergens tussenin zitten. Vorig jaar stond hij nog in EKKO, waarna hij doorstoomde naar de grote zaal van de Melkweg. Nu komt hij binnenkort terug om ons 40-jarig jubileum te vieren.

Barely working is de allernieuwste rock/art-pop band/soms one-man band uit Utrecht. De muziek is naar eigen zeggen leuk, humoristisch en soms extreem serieus en treurig. Iemand bij de laatste show: ‘Het is als een kindertekening, maar wel leuk en het zat ook best goed in elkaar met leuke melodieën(iemand bij de laatste show).’
