Bismillah’ta Layla, kendi hikâyesini kolektif bir deneyime dönüştürüyor. Anda gerçekleşen samimi, fiziksel ve şiirsel bir deneyim. Layla, diğer kadınlarla birlikte yüz metrelik bir kurdeleye işlediği kelimeleri sezgisel olarak seçti ve ortaya somut bir biyografi çıkardı. Layla, performans sırasında , sizi bu kurdeleyi, yani bir yaşam çizgisini, birlikte açmaya davet ediyor. Metin, hareket, ses ve katılımcıların birleştiği duyusal bir deneyim ortaya çıkıyor.

2023 yılındaMaastricht Tiyatro Akademisi’nden mezun oldu.
Çalışmalarında kişisel hikâyeleri evrensel, paylaşılan
deneyimlere dönüştürüyor. Tekstile ve ritüellere olan
derin hayranlığı, pratiğinde yinelenen bir unsur olan
kırmızı kurdele ile hayat buluyor.
