Desinteresse + Crush Of Souls, De Vergissingwith Crush Of Soulswith De Vergissing

Desinteresse is a Dutch coldwave band comprising Bart (bass), Joppe (drums) and Sem (vocals/synth/guitar). The band hails from Limburg and has officially existed since November 2022. The band started out as a duo, but has been performing as a trio since 2024. Following the release of two self-recorded cassettes and a 7” single on their own label ‘DECADENCE’, their debut album ‘Onschuld’ has now been released. Their aim is to recreate a sound from the past using exclusively analogue equipment. They see this as a form of art, identity and expression. Cold, desolate and existential feelings characterise Desinteresse’s dark and minimalist music. However, vocals and sounds are not the main focus; rather, it is the message behind the music as a whole.
