De Engels-Braziliaanse singer-songwriter Liana Flores maakt gevoelige nummers die zich bewegen tussen folk, jazz en bossanova. De natuur is haar grootste inspiratiebron – volgens haar Spotify-bio was Flores vroeger zelfs een boom, maar kreeg ze de vorm van mens geschonken in ruil voor liedjes. Haar nationaliteiten zijn terug te horen in haar muziek: het ene moment doet ze denken aan Astrud Gilberto, dan weer aan Nick Drake (met die laatste heeft ze ook haar subtiele gitaarspel gemeen).
