Unique blend of English and Kurdish music
Naaz is een Koerdische producer, zangeres en schrijver uit Rotterdam. Haar unieke blend van Engelse en Koerdische muziek leverde erkenning op van iconen als Elton John en Lana Del Rey. Ze heeft opgetreden op festivals als Lowlands, ESNS, Oranjepop en was meerdere keren te zien tijdens de shows van Wende’s vrijplaats.
Ze groeide op in een vluchtelingsgezin en begon op jonge leeftijd al met het schrijven en componeren van muziek. Haar eerste EP, Bits of Naaz, schreef ze op haar kamer en werd internationaal bekend. Naaz wordt bekroond om haar muziek, zelfgereggiseerde visuals, en geprezen om haar openheid over autisme, diaspora en authenticiteit binnen de muziekindustrie. In 2025 bracht ze haar zelfgeproduceerde EP Read Me uit en in 2026 brengt ze haar tweede album uit.

Naaz is a Kurdish producer, singer, and writer from Rotterdam. Her unique blend of English and Kurdish music has earned her recognition from icons such as Elton John and Lana Del Rey. She has performed at festivals such as Lowlands, ESNS, and Oranjepop, and has appeared several times on Wende’s Vrijplaats shows.
She grew up in a refugee family and started writing and composing music at a young age. She wrote her first EP, Bits of Naaz, in her bedroom and became internationally known. Naaz is acclaimed for her music, self-directed visuals, and praised for her openness about autism, diaspora, and authenticity within the music industry. In 2025, she released her self-produced EP Read Me, and in 2026 she will release her second album.
