Het is weer tijd voor Popronde! Het rondreizende festival, bomvol nieuw, opkomend Nederlands talent, doet ook weer Simplon aan. Sterker nog, bij ons kun je ook terecht voor de officiële afterparty! Met:

MAHA
MAHA is een Soedanese multidisciplinaire artiest en zine-uitgever gevestigd in Nederland. De afgelopen jaren heeft MAHA haarzelf opnieuw uitgevonden als punkartiest en oprichter van Mahazine. MAHA's missie is om haar creativiteit in te zetten als middel tot verzet tegen onderdrukking, vooroordelen en als een viering van zelfexpressie en gemeenschap.

MAYTE
Eigenwijze alt-pop met Fryske teksten, recht uit het hart. Geïnspireerd door o.a. PJ Harvey, Tori Amos en met thema's als verloren liefdes en opgroeien, neemt MAYTE je mee in haar explosieve, theatrale performance. In 2025 won ze de Kleine Prijs van Friesland, Fries songfestival LIET én de Bernlefpriis. In 2026 debuteert ze met haar EP "Himel Iepen".

DE FORMULE

DE FORMULE will make nights last forever, by combining Electronic music with the raw energy of a band. Mixing songs like a DJ, but with the power of a Punk band. Inspired by Noisia and Limp Bizkit, DE FORMULE makes sure the crowd won’t stop moving.

Anna Joan
A multi-talented showstopper. Drawing inspiration from artists like FKA Twigs, COBRAH and Sevdaliza, Anna Joan is set to unleash her raw, dark electronic sound in '26. Her new, self-produced EP 'SKIN' is a sonic manifesto of sexual liberation. In her electronic performances she blends dance, live-music and outstanding vocal performances in a raw soundworld.
