De Amerikaanse band Robert Jon & The Wreck blaast southern rock en bluesrock nieuw leven in. Grote troef van het vijftal is de krachtige, soulvolle stem van frontman Robert Jon Burrison (live klinkt-ie nog beter), maar vlak ook de sterke songs en het dito gitaarwerk niet uit. Het is dan ook terecht dat de band in 2023 werd getekend door de grote Joe Bonamassa op zijn Journeyman-label, de plek waar Robert Jon & The Wrecks laatste drie albums verschenen, met Heartbreaks & Last Goodbyes (2025) als nieuwste wapenfeit. Geschikt voor liefhebbers van The Allman Brothers Band en Lynyrd Skynyrd!
